Sorry I haven't posted...

...but I started working full time at Thanksgiving and I have been working hard to juggle Home life, Work and Beading. Heehee, so far beading is on the back burner much to my dismay. I find Beading to be a great stress reliever. I am hoping with the New Year, I can find a way to work it back into my routine slowly so that I am spend a little time each week working on something. Keep checking back as I am going to try and update a few times a month at least.

30 Listing in 30 Days....

... not so much this month. I started out trying really hard to do this one, but before I knew it, the month got away from me. So with it being the end of the month and me working 60 hours this week, I will not be able to make it. A bummer, but I will try the next one.
Hugs all.

What's new

Well, I am working hard to get ready for a Jewelry Party I am having next month and starting to go back to work part time. A bummer that it means less time to bead, but money is money.

I have just finished up some beautiful Ornaments. The Crystal Drop Ornaments were done using 3 patterns by Tica Daydreams. I changed the background colors to change the overall look of the patterns. The Glass Drop Netted Ornaments are my own design. I have been making them for about 4 years now.

Wedding Jewelry

I also had the honor of designing and making the Jewelry for my SIL's Wedding. The Bridesmaids worn Earrings that matched the bride and bracelets made from Ruby's Herringbone Bangle Pattern:

The Bride decided she wanted a necklace with leaves, so we went with Russian leaves.

Wedding Jacket

Well, last night was my SIL's Wedding. I made a jacket to wear to it and it was a hit. As always I did a ton of extra stitching on it to make it stand out.

Totally off the Bead topic...

...a bit of a rant. Sorry all, but I feel a need to say something. My Sister in Law is getting married in October and has been working very hard to plan everything and get things ordered in. She came across a site for Brides Maid Dresses and thought that they were getting a good deal and a price break for ordering 5 dresses. So she placed the order, waiting for them to arrive, and was filled with total disappointment. They ordered in Dress in Champagne and what they got were dress in Ivory, an exact match for the Brides Dress. They contacted the seller, sent a ton of photos showing that the dress were the same color and that they were not what they ordered. The company sent them a new color chart that listed Ivory as Champagne and told my SIL and MIL that they had indeed been sent the right color. They fought to get a refund or exchange, to no avail. So we are trying to sell off the useless dress and have found new ones to replace them with.

The web addy for the company is:
They also go by Cathay Collections and are run by Boris Yan. They do not tend to answer emails or their phone if you call or write with questions. My MIL has filed a complaint with the BBB about them.

So please be care full out there is Cyber Space when shopping for larger ticket items.

Challanges and Updates

I did not win the Etsy Beadweavers July Challange. Major bummer, but will be trying again for August. The theme for August is Art Deco. Keep checking back for updates on this.

Our Beadcircle Team has offically been added to the teams list at Etsy. We are working hard to get things going and offer up challanges and what not for all of you.
